Lace up those sneakers, basketball fans! Four County EMC is pleased to offer Cooperative All-Stars Sports Camp Scholarships for local middle school students in our service territory. These scholarships provide a unique opportunity to attend basketball camps hosted on university campuses and coached by NCAA athletes and staff.
Camp Opportunities for 2026
Wolfpack Women’s Basketball Camp
N.C. State University, Raleigh | June 14–17, 2026
Open to eligible young women
Carolina Basketball School
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill | June 27–30, 2026
Open to eligible young men
Students from Four County EMC’s service territory will be selected to receive scholarships, which cover all expenses for the overnight camps.
What the Camps Provide
Campers will:

Stay in university dorms and experience life on a college campus

Train with NCAA coaches and athletes
-
Build fundamental basketball skills
-
Develop teamwork, confidence and leadership abilities
-
Make connections and friendships that last beyond the court
Who Can Apply
Students who will be entering 6th or 7th grade during the 2026–2027 school year and who live in Four County EMC’s service territory are eligible to apply.
All applications must include a parent or guardian’s signature.
Scholarship recipients are responsible for their own transportation to and from camp.

More than 50 middle school students across North Carolina will receive scholarships through this statewide cooperative program.
