Members of Four County EMC are invited to join us for our Annual Membership Meeting on Monday, October 5, 2026 at Pender High School located at 5380 NC-53, Burgaw, NC 28425. This important annual event includes cooperative updates, board elections, vendor exhibits, a catered meal, and opportunities to connect with your cooperative.

5:00 p.m. – Doors open, member registration begins, vendor exhibits, and catered meal available
7:00 p.m. – Business meeting begins
What to Expect
The business portion of the meeting will include:
- Reports on Four County EMC’s financial performance and cooperative programs
- Updates on key projects and initiatives
- Election of four seats on the Board of Directors
Board Elections
In accordance with Four County EMC’s bylaws, a Nominating Committee is appointed prior to the Annual Meeting to nominate candidates for any expiring board seats.
Board member terms concluding in 2026:
- East Duplin District – E. Carlton Raynor
- East Sampson District – Mary McGill Rose
- West Duplin District – S. Franklin Williams
- At-Large – Arlester Fullwood
Proxy Voting
If you wish to assign your proxy to designated representative:
- On the back of your registration card (included with your October issue of Carolina Country), fill in the name of the designated representative you wish to appoint as your proxy.
- Fill in day and month you execute the proxy.
- Sign proxy.
Have someone witness your signature.
Unless properly executed, your proxy will be null and void.
Organizations: Member organizations can only cast votes via a designated representative. Organization must assign a proxy via proxy card included with the October issue of Carolina Country to execute and name the representative. Representatives for organizations need not be members themselves.
Individuals: If you cannot attend the annual meeting and would like someone to vote on your behalf, you can use the proxy card available on the October cover wrap of Carolina Country to name a proxy to vote in your place. Proxies for individuals must be (1) your spouse, (2) an adult close relative who lives with you, or (3) another member.
An individual may serve as a proxy for no more than one residential member and one organization. Each residential member may cast one proxy vote for another residential member, plus one additional proxy vote on behalf of a church, business, or organization if they are the authorized representative.
Note: Proxy cards are not eligible for door prizes. ONLY Individual members in attendance are eligible for door prizes.
