Special Rates
In order to be certified as an Energy Value Home and qualify for the Residential All Electric Rate, your home has to meet the following minimum three requirements:
- Heat pump Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) of 14 or greater
- Have at least a 30-gallon electric storage water heater
- All major appliances must be electric
This rate was designed for those whose lifestyles allow greater flexibility thus giving them the opportunity and an incentive to shift electrical usage to off-peak times.
- Measures electric use by time of day
- Allows members to buy off-peak electricity at a discount
- Members receive free consultation, including savings estimate based on previous 12 months' usage
- 12 months commitment required
- Potential savings up to 10 to 15%
For the period of April 16th through October 15th:
On-peak: Monday through Friday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Off-peak: All other times
For the period of October 16th through April 15th:
On-peak: Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Off-peak: All other times
All electric service is subject to the Cooperative’s Rate Schedules and Service Rules and Regulations. Although the rates say 2015 on them, they are still accurate.
