Eugene Jordan is a resident of Pender County and has served on the Four County EMC Board of Directors since 1999. He has been the Secretary/Treasurer since 2007. Eugene earned his Director Gold Certification through the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA). He is a Navy veteran and worked for Farm Bureau Insurance in Burgaw for 35 years. Eugene currently serves on the boards of Pender County Soil & Water, Smart Start of Pender County, Black River Health Clinics, and the Pender County Voluntary Ag District. He attends Jordan Chapel United Methodist Church and in his spare time, he enjoys his farm and his horses, cooking, tinkering with his antique cars, and boating at Topsail Island.
