Secretary/Treasurer
S. Eugene “Gene” Jordan is a long-time resident of Pender County and has served on the Four County EMC Board of Directors since 1999. He has held the position of Secretary/Treasurer since 2007 and earned his Director Gold Certification through the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA).
A proud Navy veteran, Gene attended both the University of North Carolina Wilmington and Miller-Motte Business College following his military service. He went on to build a successful 35-year career with Farm Bureau Insurance in Burgaw.
In addition to his work with Four County EMC, Gene remains active in the community. He currently serves on the boards of Pender County Soil & Water, Black River Health Clinics, and the Pender County Voluntary Agricultural District.
He is a member of Jordan Chapel United Methodist Church and enjoys spending time on his farm with his horses, cooking, working on antique cars, and boating at Topsail Island.
