Arlester Fullwood

At Large

Arlester Fullwood is a resident of Duplin County and has served on the Four County EMC Board of Directors since 2003. He holds one of the Cooperative's at large seats. Arlester earned his Director Gold Certification through the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA). He is a Vietnam veteran and a Purple Heart recipient. Arlester was a Basic Skills Lead Instructor for Cape Fear Community College for 34 years. For more than 30 years, he has served as the American Legion Commander of Post 329 and he is also a service officer of the Disabled American Veterans, Ch. 98. For more than 35 years, he was Chairman of the Trustee Board of Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and continues to serve on the board today. Arlester and his wife Mary have a daughter and two grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, woodworking and puttering with his tractor.
