Four County EMC members who are using electric water heating are available to take advantage of our solar water heating rebate if they choose to convert to a solar thermal unit with electric backup.
Rebates
Heat pump rebates are available for any member that installs a 16 Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) or greater heat pump. This applies to new construction or retrofits.
- The rebate is $100 per ton
- Proof of purchase is required in order to receive the rebate
- It is not a requirement to go through the loan program to receive the heat pump rebate
- The unit must be placed in primary residence.

Purchase an ENERGY STAR® Heat Pump Water Heater and receive a $300 rebate from Four County EMC.
- Unit must be placed in primary residence; vacation homes and rentals do not qualify.
- Minimum tank size: 50 gallons
- Must submit rebate form and copy of sales receipt within 90 days of purchase
- Co-op reserves the right to verify installation
To help our members overcome the initial purchase and installation costs of owning a Heat Pump Water Heater we are offering a $300 rebate.
With documentation and proof of purchase of a qualified ENERGY STAR appliance Four County members are eligible for a $50 rebate.
