Four County EMC members now have the option of prepay power.

This plan allows participants to determine how much and how often they pay provided their account maintains a positive balance. If it would be easier to make weekly or bi-weekly payments rather than one large payment each month, Prepay may be right for you. Paying in Person Has Never Been Easier!

As a convenience to our members, we have six payment kiosk locations in our service area.

Four County EMC payments are accepted at:

  • The Four County office entrance in Elizabethtown (available 24/7)
  • The Four County office entrance in Rose Hill (available 24/7)
  • Friendly Mart in Chinquapin
  • Phoenix Travel Center in Rocky Point
  • Han-Dee Hugo’s in Bladenboro
  • Han-Dee Hugo’s in Garland

New Pay-in-Person Option Available!

Members can now make CASH payments* at participating stores which include:

  • Dollar General
  • CVS
  • Walgreens
  • Speedway
  • Family Dollar

*There is a $1.50 convenience fee per transaction

Members wishing to use this payment option need to download a barcode that is tied to their account.  Visit, enter your Four County account number and confirm your address. Retailers will not have access to your account information or your balance.

Pay by Phone

Call us anytime, 24/7 including holidays to process your payment over the phone.

Pay by Text

You may text to pay your bill. Text “PAY” to make a payment to shortcode 352667. It’s simple, all you need to do is list your cell phone number with your account by going online or calling 888-368-7289, and then activate your alerts to enable our texting service. Messaging and data rates may apply.

Our drive-through window is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. for your convenience.

Bank Draft

Bank Draft eliminates the hassle of writing a check each month.

Four County can draft your checking or credit card account for the amount of your bill. You choose the draft date! Members on Bank Draft will receive their bill showing the amount drafted and the amount of electricity used.

Online Services

You can safely and securely pay and receive your electric bill online.

These are FREE services that can save you time and money. The online services are designed to meet the demands of your busy schedule.

Online Bill Pay

Four County has an online service center to make managing your account simpler.

You can safely and securely pay your electric bill by credit card or e-check for free online via our member services portal. All you have to do is visit our website or call 1-888-368-7289 for instructions on how to set up your account.


Your electric bill can be electronically formatted and sent to you via email.

Drop Box

You may drop off a payment at each of our district offices in a secure drop box 24/7. Payments placed in the drop box after hours are typically posted to your account on the next business day. The drop box is located at the drive-thru window at all three locations.

Auto Pay

Four County can draft your checking or credit card account for the amount of your bill. You may choose your own date, either a specific date each month or by due date.

Levelized Billing

With the levelized, you pay about the same amount on your electric bill each month.

Four County will average your bill by dividing the total of your previous 12 months’ bills, including the current one, by 12. Your meter will be read on the same schedule as in the past.
