Outage Text Alerts
Outage Text Alerts
Four County has implemented a new outage text alert system that makes connecting with us and staying informed about power outages easier than ever. Once enrolled, members will automatically receive a text message when their power is out and another one when their power is restored. In addition, members can now report their outage and check its status by simply sending us a text message.
As a convenience, if your cell phone number is already on your electric account, you will be automatically enrolled in the service. Please note that if your cell phone number is on multiple accounts, you will receive a text message asking you to sign up for each account manually. Signing up manually will allow you to assign a nickname to each account that your phone number is attached to, which will help avoid confusion when there is an outage. If you wish to stop receiving outage-related text messages, simply reply with the word “QUIT.”
Sign up or Re-enroll
If you need to sign up or re-enroll, please fill out the form below and click submit or click here to open the registration form in a new tab. This process will only take a few seconds, but you will need your Four County EMC account number to register.
