Four County EMC is excited to announce the launch of its new Community Solar Program, providing members with an easy and affordable way to access clean, renewable energy. Through this innovative initiative, members can subscribe to solar panels from our Community Solar Garden located in Garland and receive credits on their monthly electric bill based on the energy generated.
The program is designed for those who want to support solar energy but may not have the option to install solar panels on their own property. Whether due to location, roof condition, or financial reasons, Community Solar offers a flexible solution to enjoy the benefits of renewable energy without the upfront investment.
How it Works:
- Members can subscribe to one or more solar panels from the community array.
- No installation is required—Four County EMC handles everything from maintenance to monitoring.
- Subscribers will pay per panel and receive a monthly credit on their bill based on the amount of energy produced by their subscribed panels.
Subscriptions are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and members can sign up or learn more by visiting our website or contacting Kristen Hole, Innovative Electrification Specialist, at 910-259-1819.
