Low Income Energy Assistance (LIEAP): The Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) is a federally-funded program that provides for a one-time vendor payment to help eligible households pay their heating bills. Contact your local Department of Social Services for the application dates and for additional information on LIEAP. To apply for Energy Assistance online please visit NCDHHS – ePASS.
For assistance making Energy Efficiency and Electrification Upgrades
Energy Saver NC: Energy Saver North Carolina helps homeowners and renters across all 100 counties improve comfort, lower utility bills, and access federally funded rebates through HOMES and HEAR for energy efficiency and electrification upgrades. To apply, please visit North Carolina Energy Efficiency Program – Energy Saver and select “Get Started”.
