Youth Leadership Power Up

For the last 15 years, Four County Electric Membership Corporation (Four County EMC) has helped local high school juniors develop team building and leadership skills through our Youth Leadership Weekend event. This Spring, Four County EMC will be offering our Youth Leadership Power Up event on April 18, 2026, at YMCA Camp Kirkwood in Watha, NC.

High school juniors from within Four County EMC’s service area will be selected to attend this free, one-day experience designed to inspire and empower future leaders. Participants will engage in activities focused on teamwork, leadership development, and motivation while gaining insights into the cooperative business model. Throughout the day, students will hear from motivational speakers, participate in enriching workshops, and build lasting connections with their peers. Though the event has changed from years past, we are certain students will have a positive and inspiring experience.

But the opportunities don’t stop there! Attending the Youth Leadership Power Up event also opens the door to additional leadership opportunities, including the NRECA Youth Tour in Washington, D.C., and the CCC Cooperative Leadership Camp this summer.
