⚠️ Storm Update: Offices Closed to Foot Traffic and Disconnections Temporarily Suspended

As Winter Storm Kingston moves through our area, Four County EMC is closely monitoring conditions and remains prepared to respond quickly to all power outages.

Due to the storm, all Four County offices will be closed to foot traffic on Thursday, February 20. However, our drive-thru service at all locations will remain open during regular business hours to assist members with billing or service concerns.

Additionally, we are temporarily suspending all disconnection procedures until Monday, February 24 to support our members during this time.

Preparing for Winter Storm Kingston

The storm is expected to bring a mix of snow, ice, and freezing rain, with the potential for power outages due to heavy, wet snow or ice accumulation on trees and power lines.

"Our top priority is serving our members and communities. If the storm causes power outages, we will work diligently to restore service while keeping members informed and safe. We urge everyone to prepare now for possible outages." CEO Don Gatton

Steps You Can Take to Prepare:

✔ Assemble an emergency kit – Include food, water, medications, blankets, flashlights, and batteries.
✔ Charge your devices – Keep cell phones and essential electronics powered.
✔ Plan for potential outages – Make alternate shelter arrangements if needed.
✔ Stay informed – Enable emergency alerts on your phone.

Four County EMC crews are fully prepared, stocking trucks and testing equipment to ensure a rapid response if outages occur.
