Important Billing Information: June 1st, 2024
As a result of an external review, after 10 years of continued stable rates, we announced in January a decision to increase electric rates to continue to provide the best service to our Members. This change is essential due to rising costs of materials, labor, wholesale power, and new regulatory requirements.
Beginning June 1st, 2024, there will be a change to your bill. Moving forward your bill will reflect the average rate increase of 8.7% and the removal of the Wholesale Power Cost Adjustment (WPCA).
Because we are removing the Wholesale Power Cost Adjustment, you will only see an average 2.43% net increase in your monthly balance.
