All Electric Rate
In order to be certified as an Energy Value Home and qualify for the Residential All Electric Rate, your home has to meet the following minimum three requirements:
- Heat pump SEER of 14 or greater
- Have at least a 30 gallon electric storage water heater
- All major appliances must be electric

Time of Use Rate
This rate was designed for those whose lifestyles allow greater flexibility thus giving them the opportunity and an incentive to shift electrical usage to off-peak times.
- Measures electric use by time of day
- Allows members to buy off-peak electricity at a discount
- Members receive free consultation, including savings estimate based on previous 12 months usage
- 12 months commitment required
- Potential savings up to 10-15%
On-peak & Off-peak Times
For the period of April 16th through October 15th
On-peak: Monday – Friday | 4:00pm – 8:00pm
Off-peak: All other times
For the period of October 16th through April 15th
On-peak: Monday – Friday | 6:00am – 9:00am
Off-peak: All other times
ENERGY STAR® Appliance Rebate Program
With documentation and proof of purchase of a qualified ENERGY STAR appliance Four County members are eligible for a $50 rebate.
ENERGY STAR® qualified products and practices help you save money and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by meeting energy efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. EPA and U.S. DOE. The ENERGY STAR® label also designates greater energy performance in homes and buildings.
Remember, when buying an appliance it has two price tags: what you pay to take it home and what you pay for the energy and water it uses. ENERGY STAR® qualified appliances incorporate advanced technologies that use 10-50% less energy and water than standard models.

Heat Pump Water Heater Rebate
Purchase an ENERGY STAR® Heat Pump Water Heater and receive a $300 rebate from Four County EMC.
- Unit must be placed in primary residence; vacation homes and rentals do not qualify.
- Minimum tank size: 50 gallons
- Must submit rebate form and copy of sales receipt within 90 days of purchase
- Co-op reserves the right to verify installation
To help our members overcome the initial purchase and installation costs of owning a Heat Pump Water Heater we are offering a $300 rebate.
Heat Pump Rebates
Heat pump rebates are available for any member that installs a 16 SEER or greater heat pump. This applies to new construction or retrofits. The rebate is $100 per ton. Proof of purchase is required in order to receive the rebate.
It is not a requirement to go through the loan program to receive the heat pump rebate. The unit must be placed in primary residence. Proof of purchase from HVAC dealer is required in order to receive the rebate and the co-op reserves the right to verify installation. Thank you for your interest in our heat pump rebate program. Solar Water Heater Rebate
Four County EMC members who are using electric water heating are available to take advantage of our $1,000 solar water heating rebate if they choose to convert to a solar thermal unit with electric backup.

Free Energy Checkup
Four County EMC offers free energy check-ups as a service to our members.
