What is Bright Ideas? www.ncbrightideas.com
- The Bright Ideas program is a unique opportunity for local
to teachers to receive a grant up to $2,000 for their innovative
teaching ideas. Teachers simply have to fill out an application
at www.ncbrightideas.com, detailing their unique teaching project and how it will affect
students. Applications are accepted from May 1, 2007 until Sept.
28, 2007.
- Four County EMC implemented the Bright Ideas program in 1994.
- All certified elementary, middle and high school teachers in the Four
County EMC service area are eligible to apply. Visit www.ncbrightideas.com to
see which electric cooperative in your area awards your school's
grants.
- In 2007, Four County EMC awarded approximately $19,860 to
15 schools in our service area that benefited approximately 6,500 students.
- Early Bird drawing deadline has passed (Sept. 28).
Instructions to Apply
Typed applications are required for each
project. Only one application per team and per participant.
We prefer applications to be submitted online at www.ncbrightideas.com.
We will, however, accept applications by mail postmarked by
Sept. 28, 2007.
